On July 20, 2017 two Berrien County deputies were patrolling an area when they noticed a gray Sonic driven by Lonnie Taft. Having prior knowledge of Mr. Taft having a suspended license, our deputies attempted to make a stop on Washington St. in Nashville. After running his vehicle into a ditch, Mr. Taft exited his vehicle on foot and was captured by our deptuies and searched. Two clear plastic baggies were found on him, both testing positive for methamphetamine (14.6 grams) and marijuana (5.5 grams).
